Gastronomía de Lanzarote

Lanzarote es una isla llena de sorpresas y con su gastronomía el visitante sin duda se llevará una sensación muy satisfactoria. Sus platos destacan por la sencillez, ya que predominan las materias primas sobre su elaboración, pero el resultado es muy sabroso.

 Canarias ha recibido multitud de aportes culturales que han influido en su cocina. Los habitantes de Lanzarote heredaron de los aborígenes parte de sus costumbres culinarias. Además de la herencia guanche, encontramos en la isla, influencia gastronómica española y sudamericana.

Las buenas carnes, el pescado fresco, las verduras y el aceite de oliva virgen forman parte de la mesa de Lanzarote. Son muy típicos y de gran importancia los vinos y los quesos. Los potajes son la forma más típica de consumir verduras. Debido a la riqueza de las aguas canarias existen muchas variedades de pescado. Entre las recetas con pescados cabe destacar el Sancocho.

Entre las carnes, son la de cochino, el pollo, el conejo y la cabra las más consumidas. En cuanto a la repostería son muy típicos los panes de maní y los roscos de alma. No podemos olvidar nombrar su plato más popular: “Las papas arrugadas”. Acompañadas con sus mojos, son un plato obligado en su visita a Lanzarote.

Gastronomy of Lanzarote

Lanzarote is an island full of surprises with its gastronomy and the visitor will undoubtedly take back home a very satisfactory feeling. Its dishes are notable for their simplicity, because they are dominated by raw materials in their making, but the result is very tasty.

The Canaries have received a multitude of cultural contributions that have influenced its cooking. The inhabitants of Lanzarote inherited from the Aboriginal part of their culinary habits. In addition to the Guanche inheritance we find on the island South American and Spanish culinary influence. 

Good meat, fresh fish, vegetables and virgin olive oil are part of the cuisine of Lanzarote.  There are very typical and important wines and cheeses. Broths are the more typical way of consuming vegetables. Due to the richness of the Canary Islands waters there are many varieties of fish. Among the seafood recipes fish with the Sancocho should be highlighted.

Among the meats pork, chicken, rabbit and goat are consumed the most. As for the pastries thebread and peanut threaded rod are very typical.

We cannot forget to mention its most popular dish: “Wrinkled potatoes”. Served with the "Mojos" is a "must" dish in your visit to Lanzarote.

Gastronomie

Lanzarote ist eine Insel voller Überraschungen, und die Besucher werden die Gastronomie der Insel zweifellos geniessen. Die Gerichte zeichnen sich durch ihre Einfachheitaus, da auf die Qualität der Zutaten mehr Wert gelegt wird als auf deren ausgefeilte Zubereitung, aber das Ergebnis ist äußerst wohlschmeckend.

Der Einfluss vieler verschiedener Kulturen hat zur Küche der Kanarischen Inseln beigetragen. Von den Ureinwohnern erbten die Bewohner Lanzarotes einen Teil ihrer kulinarischen Gewohnheiten. Neben dem Erbe der Guanchen ist die Insel von der spanischen und der südamerikanischen Gastronomie beeinflusst. 

Fleisch, frischer Fisch, Gemüse und Olivenöl sind Bestandteile der lanzarotenischen Küche. Wein und Käse sind typisch und wichtig. Eintopfgerichte sind die typischste Art, Gemüse zu essen. Aufgrund des Reichtums der kanarischen Gewässer gibt es viele verschiedene Fischarten. Unter den Fischrezepten ist vor allem der "Sancocho" hervorzuheben. 

Schwein, Huhn, Kaninchen und Zicklein gehören zu den meist gegessenen Fleischgerichten. Was die Desserts betrifft, sind "panes de maní" (Erdnussbrot) und "roscos de alma" (Seelenkringel), das sind Erdnusskringel, sehr beliebt. Natürlich dürfen wir das populärste Gericht nicht vergessen:"Las papas arrugadas", die "runzligen" Kartoffeln. Begleitet von den typischen Saucen, den "mojos", sind sie ein obligatorisches Gericht bei Ihrem Besuch auf Lanzarote.
