Sábado 30 de julio de 2011 tendrá lugar la popular romería en honor a la Virgen de Las Nieves, con la participación de numerosos carros, grupos folclóricos, tenderete, timples (instrumento típico con cierto parecido a la guitarra, pero de un tamaño más reducido) y guitarras que animan la subida a la ermita.
La romería partirá desde el campo de fútbol de Teguise, sobre las 11:00h, para subir en peregrinación hasta la Ermita de Las Nieves, a lo largo de la caminata se encontrará con espectaculares vistas hacia el pueblo de Los Valles y el pueblo costero de Famara.
Programación:
- 11:00 Salida de los Romeros desde el campo de Fútbol de Teguise. “Con tranquilidad y tiempo comenzaremos la subida”
- 12:00 Parada en el camino, ofreceremos “pan preñao” para reponer fuerzas
- 14:30 Trae tu enyesque y disfruta de este día en la montaña
- 15:30 Parrandeando en la montaña “Afina tu garganta y participa con los grupos echándote un cante”
- 18:00 Misa en honor a La Virgen de las Nieves y posterior ofrendas
Pilgrimage of the Las Nieves´s 2011
Saturday 30th July, 2011 there will be the popular pilgrimage in honor of the virgin the Las Nieves´s, with the participation of many carriage, folk groups, festival, timples´s and guitars that encourage the climb to the church.
Pilgrimage of the Las Nieves´s sets off from the Teguise Football ground, at 11:00am, to make a pilgrimage up to the church of the Las Nieves´s, with beautiful views to the village of the Los Valles´s and Famara´s.
