I Desafio Octava Isla (d8i)

El Servicio Insular de Deportes convoca a todos los amantes al deporte extremo y de la naturaleza a un evento deportivo en la isla de La Graciosa, una isla única patrimonio medioambiental, un espacio ecológico de gran interés científico por su volcanología y paisajes. Los participantes tendrán la ocasión de competir rodeados de una riqueza biológica en especies endémicas, por dunas y playas de arenas doradas, llegando a meta al zoco de las construcciones y primitivas calles de jable. Para proclamarse ganador del "I Desafío Octava Isla (d8i)" tendrán que competir en dos modalidades deportivas (Triatlón-Cross y Trail), donde los participantes desafiarán el crono en dos días de competición, que pretendemos convertir en momentos inolvidables.

Programación:

• Lunes, 12 febrero: Finaliza plazo de inscripción.
• Viernes, 17 febrero: Retirada de dorsales.
• Sábado, 18 febrero: Salida de Triatlón Cross.
• Domingo, 19 febrero: Salida del Trail. 

Categorías:

• Élite (18 a 29 años)
• Master "A" (30 a 39 años)
• Master "B" (40 a 49 años)
• Veterano (50 años en adelante) 

Participantes:

• Desafío Octava Isla: Los interesados participarán en Triatlón Cross+Trail 31
• Triatlón-Cross: Participante a modo individual o por relevo.
• Trail: Participante a modo individual (31 km ó 21 km)

Distancias:

1. Triatlón-Cross: Natación: 750 metros-Bicicleta: 25 kilómetros-Carrera a pie: 5 kilómetros
2. Trail: 31 kilómetros ó 21 kilómetros. 

Cuotas de inscripción : La inscripción se realizará exclusivamente "On-line"

• Desafío Octava Isla: 35 €uros
• Triatlón Cross individual: 20 €uros
• Triatlón Cross equipo por relevo: 30 €uros

I Island eighth challenge (d8i)

The Insular Service of Sports summons all the lovers for the extreme sport and from the nature for a sports event in the La Graciosa Island, the only island environmental patrimony, an ecological space of big scientific interest in its volcanoes and sceneries. The participants will have the occasion to compete surrounded with a biological wealth in endemic species, for dunes and beaches of golden sand, coming to goal to the shelter of the constructions and primitive streets of sand. For proclaimed a winner of the First Eighth Island Challenge (d8i) they will have to compete in two sports forms (Triathlon-Cross and Trail) where the participants will defy the crono´s in two days of competition, which we try to turn in unforgettable moments.

Program:

• On Thursday, the 1st December: It initiates term of inscription.
• On Monday, the 12th February: It finishes term of inscription.
• On Friday, the 17th February: Retreat of back.- on Saturday, the 18th February: Exit of Triathlon Cross.
• On Sunday, the 19th February: Exit of the Trail. 

Categories:

• Elite (18 to 29 years)
• Master's degree "A" (30 to 39 years)
• Master's degree "B" (40 to 49 years)
• Veteran (50 years from now on)

• I defy Eighth Island: The interested parties will take part in Triatlón Cross+Trail 31
• Triathlon-Cross: Participant to individual way or for relief.
• Trail: Participant to individual way (31 km ó 21 km)

1. Triathon-Cross: Swimming: 750 meters bicycle: 25 kilometers career on foot: 5 kilometers
2. Trail: 31 kilometers ó 21 kilometers.
