Tradición de la Festividad del Corpus Christi

Lanzarote amaneció este fin de semana llena de color, sus habitantes recorrieron las calles para admirar las obras hechas por los vecinos, mientras esperaron al mediodía, donde se inició la procesión en la que se rinde tributo al Cuerpo de Cristo, transportando su imagen por las principales vías de los distintos municipios de la Isla.

Con el máximo respeto al carácter religioso de la celebración, los habitantes de la Isla viven ese día entre el reencuentro con sus vecinos, la cooperación desinteresada y solidaria; y el respeto a las tradiciones populares que han sido patrimonio de generaciones de lanzaroteños.
